The Passport Club was founded in 1989. It was the vision of William Bonner whose company the Agora Companies produces specialty publications covering finance, travel and special interest publications.

Two years after its founding, the Passport Club became the Oxford Club the name it still bears. The Oxford Club is a subsidiary of Agora and has 157,000 plus members representing 130 nations. Rather than relying on the media or brokers Mr. Bonner’s idea was to create an organization whose members seek out the latest investment opportunities. Once found these opportunities are shared with the entire membership.

Oxford Club members benefit from a simplified strategy for growing wealth. The club’s approach is to maximize returns while minimizing risk using tried and true investment strategies. Belonging to the Oxford Club grants investors access to investment publications, three newsletters, and investment services.

Membership in the Oxford Club requires (if you are selected for membership) purchasing a yearly subscription to the club’s publications. New members join at the Premier level. Premier level members can avail themselves of many, but not all of the club’s resources.

The second level of Oxford Club membership is a Director’s Circle membership. This membership can be passed on as an inheritance.

A Chairman’s Circle membership offers special advantages over the other two levels of membership. These advantages include access to club publications for as long as a member lives and the right to use features on the club’s website that are unavailable to other members.

Investment U is the Oxford Club’s educational website for investors. Besides offering courses in investing users can take part in video conferences. The site offers a variety of other investment resources including a daily e-letter “U Daily” contains recent and important news from the world of investing.

Investment U Plus” is the e-letter sent to people using Investment U’s Premium program. The content in IUP is compiled by experts in the field of finance.

Oxford Club members can use the club’s Baltimore MD Clubhouse. Other advantages of membership include a travel benefit called Global Outposts. The outposts being Oxford Club properties around the world.
